- Warner Crocker

We’ve been hearing rumblings of Internet Explorer 8 for some time now, and I noticed that Colin Walker recently posted up some info on some of the new features that will be included. You can check out Colin’s post here and more on the Internet Explorer 8 Readiness Toolkit Website.

The WebSlices seems particularly cool to me along with the Crash Recovery feature. It seems to me like they're actually trying to make this a worth-while upgrade given they're actually adhering to standards and all. :) Can't wait for the download to be posted so I can give it a spin.

Crash recovery is an absolute must. I use Opera more often than not these days due to it's excellent tab management and recovery (either after crashing or even just inadvertantly closing a tab I wanted to keep). A feature like that would definitely make me try out IE8.
