User Enhanced Vista Tablet Button Tool for Sahara i440D

- Warner Crocker

When you don’t have what you need, some of us create it for ourselves. That’s what harakan, a GBM Forum user, has done with the Vista Tablet Button driver on the TabletKiosk Sahara i440D Tablet PC.

As the standard Tablet Button driver provided by TabletKiosk for Vista is pretty limited, I have put together a replacement. This provides many new features, such as a one-button, touch-optimised task switcher, multiple functions per button (based on short or long-presses), and application-specific functions.

harakan has also provided a list of the standard default button definitions and how to edit them if you’re so inclined. Check out the full post in the GBM Forums.
