Samsung Q1 Goes Sleuthing

- Warner Crocker

The original film, Sleuth, is a classic mystery featuring Laurence Oliver and Michael Caine. It is based on a stunning play of the same name by Anthony Shaffer. There’s a remake just out featuring Michael Caine (now playing the older role), Jude Law and directed by Kenneth Branagh. It is not getting the best of reviews, I haven’t seen it, but I plan to.

Apparently, in the remake, Caine’s character uses a Samsung Q1 UMPC as a remote control device and from a quick look at the trailer that seems to make sense in the very high-tech look of the film.
