Playing Crayon Physics Deluxe on a Tablet PC

- Rob Bushway

Petri Purho, of Kloonigames,  wrote a cool application called Crayon Physics and Crayon Physics Deluxe. He just got around to testing it out on a Tablet PC, and I have to say it looks really, really cool. What kid or student wouldn't love this?

Watch the video below, then read more and download it here:

Someone needs to get Petri a tablet PC!

And an OLPC OX! This would be a great game for the Children's Laptop.

I played with this some and it's a lot of fun. I particularly appreciate how the ink looks like a real crayon!

Here's another somewhat similar project that Andy Wilson in MS Research pointed me to. This one lets you draw on real paper, and bring real objects like toy cars, army men, bananas, etc. into your toy physics world. Looks like a hoot to me!

This might be an interesting thing to discuss more on GottaBeSurface! (Or maybe you already did...).
Playstation Eye demo of toy physics worlds, etc.
