Needs a lot of work.

Rob,

Thank you for these great inkshows. A quick question; I used to be able to watch your inkshows. Just a few days now that I have not been able to watch any inkshow. I have very limited PC knowledge so don't know what might have prevented me from being able to watch you inkshows. When I clicked on "Watch", it would open a blank page/window, but no Windows media window to watch the shows. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
John

I wonder if it was because the link was opening a new window and it was blocking it?

Can you try it now? I removed the opening new window tag.

Rob,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I tried it again, and still get a blank page with the following address: http://media20a.libsyn.com/podcasts/gottabemobile/tabletcalendar.wmv

and still now windows media player showing the inkshow.

Any other suggestions?

Regards,
John

Looks like a 20A is at the end of Media. Try removing that,
http://media20a

I'm not sure why that is happening though

Rob,

If I delete the "20A" then I get an error message.

I tried re-opened the "watch" again and again and each time, I get a different number there -- ie., I have seen 22a, 23a, 24a, 28a, 27a, etc.,

It sounds like I am not suppose to have these numbers?

John

Very strange. Even copying the link you gave and pasted into FF, that link turned into: http://media22a.libsyn.com/podcasts/gottabemobile/tabletcalendar.wmv when I press "Go".

Your suspecion is correct, i pasted the same link into IE, though it had to first download the file, it shows the inkshow. But even when it was downloading, I observed the following:

Do you want to oopen or save this file?

Name: tabletcalendar.wmv
Type: Windows Media (TM) Movie, 3.63MB.
From: media24a.libsyn.co
or media23a.libsyn.co

where could that 24a or 23a be coming from?

Another thought, now that I try to remember exactly what might have taken place since I last watched one of your inkshows and when i suddenly can't watch them anymore. The one thing I can remember for sure is installation of Nero7. Could that be the culprit?

Thanks again for helping me to sort this out so I can enjoy your shows, especially staying with FF.

Regards,
John

Rob,
Thanks for trying. Mabey someone else with this experience can help us to understand this situation.

I have been enjoying your inkshows very much. Keep up the great work.

Best regards,
John
