Fujitsu T2010 Coming to GBM Next Week

- Rob Bushway

t2010 Thanks to our good friend John Hill, from Allegiance Technology Partners, folks attending the GottaBeMobile.com Readers Meetup will be able to see and use the just released Fujitsu T2010 Tablet PC up close and personal. I'll also have my HP 2710p there, so folks can do a hands-on comparison between the two very similar devices.

By the way, I just heard that John is also sending us an Amtek T770 UMPC and a Motion Computing LE1700.

So, if you didn't already have enough reasons to attend the GBM Readers Meetup, we just upped the ante for you!

Just got mine today, working on the review. Truly a lovely tablet, the screen is crisp and clear. However, noted the first flaw already, especially after watching your video review on the HP 2710p, that being the T2010 lack the magnetic latch. Basically there are none on the T2010. Not sure what Fujitsu was thinking in regarding to this, the screen when in tablet mode is not snapped to the keyboard. Kinda worry that it would put too much pressure on the hinges.

I wish I was able to be there. Sounds like it will be a really good time. With John Hill bringing a T2010, does that mean we could see it as a 48Hr demo at alltp sometime soon? It would be nice to have a chance to test drive this tablet!

Unfortunately, John won't be at the meetup, but it does mean the unit will be availble for 48 hour demo at alltp.com - after we finish with it of course :-)
