Motion Cuts Prices on LE1700 Tablet PC

image Prices on Motion Computing's popular LE1700 slate Tablet PC have been cut in some big ways. Depending on the configuration, savings can be as much as $350.

Here are some examples of the savings. Check this link for more info:

  • 1.5 ghz, 2 GB Vista with View Anywhere and SXGA - Originally $2605, Now $2265
  • 1.5 ghz, 1 GB XP / Vista, SXGA - Originally $2257, Now $2007

Hi Rob,

really would like to check out one of their slates but that's not quite as easy in germany. If motion would just sell directly in germany, too.

The resellers in germany are really bad. Either they do not react on emails and/or they are really expensive and I mean you play a lot more you would in the states.

Just one example: C2Duo 2GB 60GB HSDPA ViewAnywhere SXGA+ 2.480,18 EUR

2.480,18 EUR - 16% Tax * 1,5785 (1 EUR = 1,5785 USD) = 3374,97 USD

You just have the choice between 4 models, i.e. the basic le1700 with core solo and sxga is just not available and resellers are not replying to emails.

Still since the silent disappearence of the le1700wt, I'm hoping for a le1800 with the n-trig digitizer soon.
