Roper Mobile Technology Unleashes the Duros Rugged Tablet PC

Roper Mobile Technology, the folks who bought Black Diamond, makers of the Switchback, today unveiled the Duros Rugged Tablet PC. Decked out with a 8.4 inch sunlight viewable screen, SVGA resistive Touch, and running an AMD Geode LX800 processor or Intel Celeron M at 1.0 GHz, the Duros also comes with a 120GB hard drive and 1 GB of memory. The battery is also hot swappable and of course there are an array of connectivity options and optional GPS.

Maybe the good folks at Roper Mobile will send us a review unit to test out. We’ve been known to put rugged Tablets and UMPCs through their paces.
