No, it is not a Surface Computing device, but it is a big table. The Intelligent Forms SOlo is a lounge table that grabs juice from the sun and will then charge up your mobile devices. Weatherproof, it stores solar power and if you leave it in a “typical outdoor setting” for a year it can store up enough power to charge your cellphone 6800 times or your laptop 168 times. My guess is this might work well in a room with lots of windows, provided you have a screen on your device that can be read well in the sun. Of course it doesn’t come cheap coming in at about $14,000.
