DRS Technologies Introduces ARMOR - Mobile Rugged PC's

- Matt Faulkner

ArmorX10 DRS released some rugged PC's recently - and one of them happens to be a Tablet PC. There are some great specs on the Tablet PC unit - Aluminium chassis - sealed for Full MIL spec - No Flap input connections - Touch and Passive pen input - 10.4" backlit screen.  Sounds like a nice unit to me, but maybe I am biased since I have some people out in the field that would love to have these.  Option for built in GPS - that's a feature that get's me excited!!

"DRS has extensive experience developing systems that meet and exceed military requirements and survive extremely harsh environments around the globe. In fact, DRS currently is the global leader in the ultra-rugged computing market," said Michael J. Sheehan, president of DRS Technologies' Tactical Computing strategic business unit.
