Fujitsu To Include Flash Drives on Tablet PCs

- Warner Crocker

CNET, in a particularly poorly written article, is reporting that Fujitsu will begin including flash drives in their P1610 and Lifebook B6210 Tablet PCs. They will be equipped with either 16GB or 32GB size units which seem on the small size to me. The CNET article says this will probably be aimed at the corporate world more than consumers. Check out this quote:  “Corporate IT managers don't care as much if the notebook doesn't have enough storage space available to hold several hundred MP3 songs and some pirated movie clips.” No word yet on the price.

IMHO, the comment "corporate IT departments buy them for employees like delivery personnel and sales representatives who are working in the field" is a point above in 'horror grade' ...

I'm trying to find out how to present my case to my employer, has a sales rep or delivery guy :)

Particularly poorly written? Warner, surely you jest. The article includes two semicolons. Could a poorly written piece correctly incorporate this arcane mark of punctuation in two places? I think not.

Gizmodo is reporting that these drives will command a $700 and $1200 price premium for the 16GB and 32GB.
