GBM InkShow: The Shwamee Microfiber Cleaning Cloth

- Warner Crocker

shwamee I’ve been looking for a good cleaning solution for the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Superview screen for quite awhile. My only gripe about the X61 with Superview is that the screen is more than a fingerprint magnet, it attracts anything and everything and is nigh on near impossible to clean. And it isn't just a question of looking pretty. The buildup of stuff on the screen actually impairs the pen and I can feel it as I move the pen around the screen. It is kind of like the nagging bad cold I’ve got hanging around right now. It just won't go away. I’ve tried just about every cleaning cloth and solution available with no luck. Until now.

The Shwamee Microfiber Cleaning Cloth gets the job done. There’s no if’s, and’s or but’s about it. While it might be a bit large, it will clean this, up until now, impossible to clean screen, and all of the screens on all of my mobile devices. All it takes is a little moisture and a little wiping and the job is done.

Tucking this in my gadget bag, I feel comfortable that I can Ink away and not worry about keeping the screen free of the gunk that comes off of my hands. Now, about those sneezes though….?

Watch or download the High Res version (9:22 minutes, 61mb, Windows Media streaming or direct download)

Check out Shawmee products at Shop.Shwamee.com.

Enjoy!

Warner,

I still have the R2H and this UMPC came with a small cleaning cloth. Now I'm using this cleaning cloth with my Averatec c3500 and also with the Toshiba M200.

I found this material very good for tablets. Is the material similar to The Shwamee Microfiber Cleaning Cloth ?

Cheers from Bolivia

I had used, and still use, the cloth that came with the R2H. It had been the best of the rest until I came across this product. But for the X61 it did not work as well as the Shwamee.

No one's done this yet? Allow me...

Shwamee, how I love ya, how I love ya.....
