HP Offering Smart Buy Discounts on 2710p, TC4400

- Rob Bushway

2710p Tablet PC If you've been waiting for "just that special deal" before plunking down for a HP 2710p Tablet PC, then you might want to check out these HP Smart Buy specials ( GBM affiliate link ). HP is offering the 2710p with discounts from $345 - $505 off, depending on configuration. If the TC4400 is more your cup of tea, it has discounts of around $200.

You can access the specials through this link or by clicking the HP banner that randomly appears on the top of the site.

Yikes.... I was hoping for much better prices when I clicked the link.
The cheapest 2710 I saw about $1600.
I bought my tc4200 (before the tc4400 had even come out) from the hp refurb dpt. for about $1600 a few years ago.
It included the computer, an extra battery, a travel battery, a docking station and a four year in home warranty.
I've never used it so I'd have to look it up now; but, I think it is actually a next business day or maybe two business day warranty at that.
I thought the current models were cheaper than this...
Oh well... the old tc4200 is holding up admirably.

The Special Buys are special bundled packages that give discounts off of standard configured units.

I'd expect the special pricing on the HP site to change every so often. Keep watching them if they are not what you are expecting.
