How Cool Is The HP TC1100 Tablet PC?

- Rob Bushway

The discontinued TC1100 Tablet PC is so cool that HP decided to include it in their new video commercial highlighting the 2710p Tablet PC! Watch for it at the end of the video. For those you wondering, no, the TC1100 did not have a Night Light. The 2710p does, though....

Thanks for spotting it, enthusio, who let us know by inking his comment using his TC1100!

I saw that, but I haven't seen a 2710p to realize that it really IS the TC1100. Thank you for confirming this.

Hehe - you can even see the little feet on the bottom of the TC1100 in the picture. I miss those feet.

So cool that I continue to use my TC1100 every day; on the train, in meetings, and at home even though new Tablets like the 2710 are out there... The removable keyboard is still the best design for a Tablet PC (my opinion, of course).

You know, the guy Rob interviewed at CES from Hp said to watch their space. Is there anyway there could be a new life for the TC1100? It will probably be about a week after I order an M700. :)

I'll hang to my good ol' TC1100, though. I might need it as a video prop. HA!

It still turns heads. I'm on a business trip in northern Maine, and at breakfast as I read an e-book via my TC1100 people were amazed at the critter and asked all sorts of questions. What a great design!
