Internet Explorer 7 gets some extra features - with this addon

- Matt Faulkner

Today I found a great addon to Internet Explorer 7 (actually I saw a post about it today, and can't find the link to credit - I believe it was off the MSDN feed).  Seems like they have taken features that make some of the other browsers nice for Tablet PC users - and added them to IE 7.  Super Grab and Drag (Firefox) - in IE 7...  Double click tab to close (Maxthon) - in IE 7...  that's just a couple.  Does anyone use this already? I installed it and really like it so far...  especially the ability to increase the connections out to the net.  OH - did I mention Mouse Gestures???  They're great with the stylus!

IE7Pro is a must owned adds-on for Internet Explorer 7, which provides lots of features and extras to make your IE friendly, more useful, secure and customizable. You can apply IE7Pro to Tab Management, AD Blocker, Flash Block, Super Drag Drop, Crash Recovery, Proxy Switcher, Mouse Gesture, Tab History Browser, Web Accelerator, User Agent Switcher, Webpage Capturer, Greasemonkey alike User Script, User Plug-in and etc. People can customize Internet Explorer, even his favorite website according to his needs and tastes using IE7Pro.

Give it a shot and let me know what you think!!

Update - The feature in IE7 Pro is Super Drag Drop, a different feature than the FF extension, Super Grab and Drag.  While not as feature rich in IE7, there is the 'hand' tool already in IE7.  Thanks Sumocat

I've been using it for some time and love it; you can get it from Windows Marketplace>IE add-ons which is where I first saw it

Almost got me excited about this until I realized it still doesn't have a version of the Grab & Drag extension for Firefox. G&D allows for easy screen scrolling via pen/touch or mouse, like a better version of the hand tool in Adobe Acrobat/Reader. Grab and *Drop" for IE7 is for easily opening links and searches. Hardly the same.
