The demo of the recognition piece reminds me of old school robot eyes/lcd glasses. Bout time!

So aside from that...am I the only one disappointed by the lack of any announcements from MS? 2 hour long keynote that hasn't left an impression on me..

Just finished watching this myself, and my first thought was, "Is this it? This is all Microsoft had to offer?" While I might be disappointed, I also think, theorize, hope and expect that Bill probably has something serious up his sleeve. Those recognition devices integrated into mobile phones with the total connected Windows Live thingie will get a big bang. I project that he wants Macworld to have its day and fanfare, and just when he steps down from Microsoft, will explode a huge device (huge as it relates to potential) that will make everyone remember and speak of him for the next five years.

Awesome video montage! Bill Gates really showed his humorous side with that video, a side that I thought was non-existent till tonight. Love the products that Microsoft has in development, that picture recognition thing will be huge when it gets into Windows Mobile phones.
