MIDs to Hit the $199- $299 Range

According to this report from Digitimes, Intel is aiming to get MID prices down to the $199 - $299 range by bundling the MIDs with telecom carriers. Intel expects to be volume producing the MIDs in the second quarter of 2008.

$199 - $299 MID prices would be a major blow to UMPC OEMs.
