ModBook unveiling

- Rob Bushway

In other news of interest to tablet users is the announcement at MacWorld by Other World Computing. They unveiled their ModBook Tablet, and the Unofficial Apple Weblog has all the pictures for your viewing pleasure.

With Linux starting to appear on Tablet PCs ( TabletKiosk's new Sahara line ) and the ModBook from Other World Computers, the Tablet PC space is starting to look very interesting.

Does anyone else find this particularly... sad?

I wish there was some video of using the Modbook. I am a Mac user and would like a Mac Tablet.I am currently using a Fujitsu TabletPC.

The pictures do not really show writing in ink on the Modbook and I am not familiar with ink on an Apple.I have no way to determine how good it is or isn't.

Thank you! I have been waiting this for a long time. But I don't see any rotation of the operating system. What happen if I want to take notes in class and want a vertical view?
