Motion Pushes Back Availability of LE1700 WriteTouch

- Rob Bushway

Yesterday, GBM reader and Tablet PC MVP Steve Seto noticed that the pricing and product numbers for Motion Computing's LE1700 WriteTouch Tablet PC were recently removed from their website. I touched base with Motion regarding their upcoming WriteTouch model and this change, and they had this to say:

Motion has revised the availability date of the LE1700 WriteTouch to October 2007. During the final round of internal testing, Motion discovered a quality issue that does not meet its standard and has chosen to delay the shipment to perfect the WriteTouch display option on the LE1700.

When we hear more about the upcoming model, we'll let everyone know.
