Nokia Issues Product Advisory For Batteries That Overheat

Nokia has issued a product advisory (recall) for the BL-5C battery for a risk of overheating. The recall affects a number of Nokia handsets and it estimated that 46 million batteries are subject to the advisory. There are over 300 million BL-5C batteries in circulation and the 46 million in question are manufactured by Matsushita.

Here’s a list of the affected handsets.
