Office Live Workspace and Google Docs - Feature Comparison

- Rob Bushway

ReadWriteWeb has very thorough review of the just released Office Live Workspace beta and Google Docs. It's a great read for those interested in learning more about how the two line up.

I've given Office Live Workspaces a test and really like it. One of the drawbacks for me, though, was that I couldn't edit Word documents using a Mac with Office for Mac installed. All I could do was preview the document. Only Office XP, 2003, and 2007 are supported. That said, I think Microsoft is moving in the right direction by hooking the online and offline clients together. Let's hope they offer integration with Office for Mac.
