Rob,

Really impressed since I use OneNote 2003 on PC.
My goal is a Tablet PC with OneNote.
I am an information hound to support success life principles
for which I am developing a website.

Now the questions:

1. Does TEO 3.0 work on a regular PC also?
2. Will TEO 3.0 do a search function like OneNote?
3. How is it you are demoing OneNote 2007 for MS? Glad you did, since I hadn't heard about it yet.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill:

I’m beta testing OneNote 2007 and we are allowed to talk about / demo the feature sets.

TEO 3.0 is a tablet pc only app, however, if you have SP2 and the recognizers installed , it might work ( but not supported). I’d imagine that Josh is looking at extracting out the tablet bits so non-tablet pc users can use it.

That said, once vista comes out, you’ll have all the tablet pc functions included, it might work out of the box on a non-tablet pc.

You can search individual notes by opening them up, but not search across multiple notes like OneNote. I belive it is a feature he is working on, but it won’t make it in to this release.

Can you do me a favor? Post your questions to the InkShow post and I’ll respond there as well, so other readers can get the benefit of your questions.

Glad you liked the demos.

Rob,
Thanks for an excellent OneNote 2007 show.

Towards the end of the show, you mentioned about public beta. Do you know when it will become available? Can't wait.

Thank you once again,
John
