Thinkpad Explodes In Flames at LAX

- Warner Crocker

Lenovosplosion1Just when it seemed like the furor over exploding laptop batteries had begun to die down comes this. Apparently a Thinkpad recently exploded into flames at LAX causing the expected uproar. Interesting that the IBM/Lenovo batteries have not been subject to any recall so far. I imagine some newer scrutiny will now come down on that relationship. Sony must be sweating bullets.
