SSD and HDD - What's The Future?

- Matt Faulkner

Looks like a little friendly competition brewing over on Ultramobile PC Tips.  CTitanic and JKK are posting dueling videos on performance and the future of drives.  Watch both of the videos and see the comparison, very interesting I must say.

Today I was having one of those private chats with my friend JKK about the advantages of SSD versus HDD no because neither of us is not convinced that SSD is the future but because he was pointing me that the SSD in the Everun was not working as fast as I should have been working.

As usual, the winner depends on usage. SSD will eventually match HDD in capacity and speed, but HDD uses more power and can't stand up to a shaking.

I'm confused. Where is duel? Don't both videos show SSD as the better drive?
