Sheet Music on your Tablet PC

- Sierra Modro

MusicReader If you've ever longed for a continuous flow of sheet music while you're playing, the MusicReader may fill your longing. With MusicReader, you can scan in either paper or digital music and have the ability to store, search, and - importantly! - automatically transpose to a new key. I frequently have times when a piece is in the wrong key for my vocal range, and with MusicReader I can automatically transpose to the key best for my voice. You can turn pages with either a foot switch or by tapping the screen, allowing a a flow of music without shuffling pages.

The application is fully Tablet PC enabled and allows annotation of the music with pen input, as shown at the right. Given the shelf space I use for sheet music, this could really come in handy!
