SkyDrive Out of Beta - Access Those Files Anywhere

- Matt Faulkner

I use my SkyDrive storage from time to time, but there could be a need to revisit it now...  5GB of reasons!!  I normally use my Gmail account as online storage, but there are limitations to going down that road.  Now might be the time to move everything over to SkyDrive - unless there is another option out there...??  Wherever your files are, it's nice to have access to those important files when you need them, I know it's saved me in the past!

Also with the removal of the beta tag comes a bunch of new countries - so more people can enjoy the online file storage.

In addition to Great Britain, India, and the U.S., we’re live in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Turkey.

I first looked at SkyDrive when it offered 250mb storage so dismissed it; now it offers 5gb, it certainly looks more appealing. I like to use Diino (2gb free) because I can carry it on a flash drive.
