Sprint WiMAX Enabled Nokia N800 Coming?

- Warner Crocker

We all know that one of the keys to mobile computing is connectivity. And those who like to follow the acronyms and revision numbers get breathless with any hint that better connectivity options are coming down the pike. Sprint and Google made some news recently by annoucning a collaboration on WiMAX Internet services. Sprint’s plan is to make WiMAX (4G) available to over 100 million folks sometime in 2008. Now there is an inkling that Sprint may be offering a WiMAX enabled Nokia N800 as early as 2008. Nothing is solid on this yet (and probably won’t be for awhile) so I wonder if Sprint will pull ths off. This will be interesting to follow.
