Stack Your Files With Windows Vista

- Warner Crocker

With the release of Apple’s new Leopard update to OSX just around the corner one of the features being touted is Stacks, the ability to let you stack your files in groups of your choosing. But did you know that Vista already has its own Stacks?  Lifehacker links to a CyberNet article that explains how to Stack your files in Explorer. Essentially this is using Vista’s search and the more files that you place in a stack the larger the icon will appear. Click on the stack and all of the files in the stack are visible. I didn’t know this existed.

So what you're saying is that once again Mac wasn't really the first to do something despite claims to the contrary? :P

Actually, this is one of those features I love and hate... I use it in Outlook a lot for some folders, and insist on turning it off for others. Nice option to have though! :)
