TabletKiosk's Gail Levy Goes Slate For A Day

- Warner Crocker

I found this interesting. TabletKiosk’s Gail Levy declared that she was going to spend this past Tuesday as Tablet Tuesday. Using her Sahara slate Tablet PC she was going to stay away from her desk, completely unwired. In her follow up, she reports that she wasn’t able to be away from her desk as much as she wanted but she kept true to her mission and stayed undocked and untethered all day. I thought this quote was telling:

I felt silly sitting at my desk, chatting on the phone and writing on my tablet. Using the tablet this way didn't make me more mobile, it made me feel stupid. Next week, I need to make sure that I get myself away from my desk.

Check out the rest of her findings on her blog, Mobility Matters.
