TabletPC2.com reviews Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro

- Rob Bushway

Whether you listen to your music on a Windows Media device, an iPod, an Origami, or a Tablet PC, everyone is need of a decent set of earphones. If you are in the market for some earphones, TabletPC2.com has done a superb review of the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro earphones.

I’ve have never invested in a good set of ear phones, but after reading this review, I think I might be tempted to spring for a set – if I could save up the $249 they cost! Anyone else have some recommendations on good, portable earphones?

I use these: http://www.sennheiser.nl/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf/root/05206

They're not quite as good as the Ultimate Ears are said to be but they are darned good, they're not in-dwelling for those of us who don't like earbuds, and they're a third the price.

I'm not that impressed with them. I have them, the Shure E2c, the Etymotic 6 and 6i and those 3 sound as good for half the price. You can find the Ultimate Ears at Provantage for cheaper than the list. Another good resource for headphones is www.earphonesolutions.com. They have several options for portable music players and their prices seem to be reasonable.
