The CeBit Boys and The Clevo UMPC

- Warner Crocker

jkkmobile and Steve “Chippy” Paine teamed up at CeBit to check out the MID and UMPC news and have been feeding the world some reports. They are promising more to come and if this tag team approach is any indication, we should find out what “new” news there was (I really didn’t see a tremendous amount of new device news from CeBit) in the next few days.

This report covers the Clevo UMPC and the boys are telling us that they believe that the Menlow architecture will yield the advertisted 7 hour battery life.

Isn't that a hinge there? I wonder why Chippy didn't rotate the screen so we could have a look at its handiness in tablet mode. After all the Clevo dude did call it a tablet-notebook. Ahh well, he did say it was a prototype and not a production model.
