The Evolution To The Borg Continues

- Warner Crocker

I can’t be one to be too sarcastic about this because I use an Ailph Jawbone BlueTooth headset and it is attached to my head quite a bit. But I think this might be going a bit too far. The RoadRunner BlueTooth Communicator not only has a headset, but a larynx microphone that you attach to your neck.

Roadrunner

I’m not sure resistance is futile with this.

Mister Anderson... what good is a bluetooth headseat if you are unable to speak...

Reminds me of Terminator... that gaze, the eyes.

Don't you see the resemblance to Arnold? As in, a cheap, made-for-TV version of Terminator, or straight-to-VHS.

I think the neckset is fitting. That's what that is... a neckset, and I'm sure there's a way to make it more like jewelry, more like some high-fashion surgical-stainless-steel and carbon-fiber necklace-type-piece with some kind of semi-precious stones... I'm sure there's a professional-female-techie-market that it'd appeal to!

That group might be no more than twelve or so, but still -- I think that's more of a market than that of Mr. Fake-schwarzenegger's Communicator-noose.

Make fun of it all you guys want, I'm just sad none of you have a convertible.

I've probably tried half a dozen bluetooth headsets looking for something that's good enough for me to both hear people, and to be heard clearly by people, with no luck.

Honestly if this is what it took to have a headset for my car I wouldn't hesitate to wear it while driving..... wouldn't rock it on the street or at the mall, but then I don't think headsets are status symbols.

Function over form people, don't be so quick to judge.
