The Man of Many UMPCs

- Warner Crocker

A long while back (in mobile computing years) I tagged Rob Bushway with the monkier, The Man of Many Tablets (MMT). At the time he had several at his disposal and was the envy of many with gadget lust. Well, Rob has taken a vow that for this year he will only have and use his Lenovo Thinkpad X60 and the Fujitsu P1610 Tablet PCs (more than enough for most folks, but we will let that go for the moment) . While the rest of us on the GBM have vowed to support Rob in any way possible in his quest to be only bi-Tablet for a year as he relinquishes his acronym.

But we might have to come up with a new acronym for Down Under Tableteer Hugo Ortega. He just posted this family portrait of all of the UMPCs he has at his disposal.

My-swag

I’m not sure how he finds the time to keep all of those UMPCs happy and if you read the post, it might be getting just a bit unhealthy.
