Using a Tablet PC To Keep Warm

- Warner Crocker

On the one hand this is a neat little story, on the other it could be viewed that Tablet PCs get too warm. Craig Pringle blogged that a friend of his with a Motion LS800 got stuck late at night between trains and was faced with spending a few early morning hours on a train platform down under. From what Hugo is telling us it has been an unusually cold winter for those parts. Craig’s friend Lee, fired up is LS800, stuck it in his jacket coat pocket and weathered the wait a bit warmer thanks to that bit of mobile tech.

I'm always cold at work, so I've literally been hugging my mobile devices for years. I used to lug a jacket around everywhere I go, but I think going to the gym for the past year and a half has helped me end that. Still, the thermostat was at 75 a few minutes ago, until I kicked it up a couple of degrees. Heat? Bring it on!
