Vista On a Asus R2H UMPC

- Warner Crocker

Well, Matt continues to work and play with his new Asus R2H Ultra-Mobile PC. And we continue to get reports from him on how it is going. When he saw that the folks at OnlyUMPC were talking about installing Vista on an Asus R2H, he couldn’t be stopped. So he’s done the install and sent a few pictures along. Looks like Matt has one more Inkshow video to produce now as the world his anxiously awaiting his full report!

Nice job Matt! Forget the technical questions, mine is an opinion question that I'd like to see you answer after you've used Vista for a few days on a UMPC: will you want to go back to XP Tablet or does Vista provide enough of a feature set increase while still performing well so that you'll want to keep Vista on it? I know how I'd answer that, but how would you? :)

Matt,

I'm actually curious where that nice background came from. I just got the Zune theme and it would be perfect with the orange/black. Any way for me to get a hi-res version of that photo?
Ben
