Vista running on the OQO Model 02 Tablet PC

- Rob Bushway

Image0025_thumbMatt reported on GBM Forum member Kenrick and his new OQO Model 02 Tablet PC. Well, he’s upgraded it to Vista and has another report and video.

Kenrick has everything working except: no brightness controls, and no OQO wireless manager. In addition, the fan kicks on pretty loud when the CPU is tasked, but heat is being kept at a minimal.

Keep up the good reporting, Kenrick. If folks are interested in learning more about the OQO and a new user’s experience on it, I’d suggest subscribing to Kenrick’s blog as well as following this forum thread.

These guys have done a great job with the design on the OQO2 though I liked the color on the OQO1 better.
