Walt Mossberg Nails It

- Warner Crocker

Bang. Sometimes clarity comes from the strangest places. Walt Mossberg, in his editorial, Free My Phone, takes on the Telcos, and their practices of locking down whatever they can get their hands on, and how it stifles growth in the marketplace. In his article he refers to Telcos as “Soviet ministries”, (an analogy that I totally agree with-the Mafia also comes to mind.) He also compares the current situation to the days of land line phones before the government stepped in. Great article. Maybe with  Mossberg’s clout, it will start a little movement towards some change.
