Wearable Keyboard

- Warner Crocker

Well, we’ve certainly heard of wearable screens before, but I don’t think we’ve seen wearable keyboards until this. Not only do these pants by designer Erik De Nijs have a keyboard in your lap they also have speakers in the knees.

Nice trick, but you are going to look a little odd using the center of the keyboard! :-)

It would certainly discourage me from pouring my coffee on my keyboard, but I already have that under control.

I think they could go a long way in marketing this as a security solution. It would make it a lot harder for someone to come over to your computer and cause mayhem when yout step away for a minute e.g. to use the bathroom.

I think we might need to go with a split keyboard design here. We wouldn't want a long night of coding or gaming to cause medical issues.
