Why Intel 915 Graphics Don't Have a WDDM Driver For Vista?

If you’ve got a device running the Intel 915 integrated graphics chipset (such as the Asus R2H and other UMPCs) and are wondering why you can’t find a WDDM driver you are not alone. Many are wondering, (some are fuming) about this. Well here is the final answer, courtesy of Josh Bancroft.

He’s posted a video where he interviews Intel’s Chuck DeSylva and gets a straight answer as to why there are no WDDM drivers for the 915. Unfortunately “the final word” is not a good one. Watch the video for the answer.
