Windows Dreamscene Released

- Matt Faulkner

thumb_98 Those wondering where all the Ultimate Extras have been, there is one that is out of beta and coming to a Vista Ultimate install soon.  Today over on WindowsUlitmate.com the announcement was made.  There is still a wait for the remaining 19 languages...  If you don't like what is included, or don't want to put your own video on your desktop, check out Dream.Wincustomize.com and get some other Dreams! (Note a free Stardock install is required for those)

What is your favorite one??

Am I missing something? I've had DreamScene through Windows Update for months. Was it a beta or something? I wouldn't think a beta would be available via Windows Update.

Ahh, I had the same question as Josh. I saw it over at WinCustomize for some time now. Still running XP here, so not able to play with it, but DARN if it don't look purty!

It does look great. I've had dream scene for some time now as well, but I don't ever remember a "beta" being stamped on it.
I have Vista Ultimate.
It's great, but it will make my system jump quite a bit in processor activity, from say 20% to about 80% just for the movie running in the background..

it won't - it is an "ultimate extra", so it'll only run on Vista Ultimate
