Amazon Feeds The Immediate Gratification Beast with DVD Downloads

Everyone wants everything right now. Real time. Now waiting. That’s been the trend for awhile and it looks like Amazon is feeding that beast with some more tasty appetizers. Amazon has just launched a service through its On Demand offerings that lets you start downloading and viewing a movie title once you’ve purchased the DVD or Blu-Ray title. Only 300 titles from Amazon’s catalog are available, but if you’re the On Demand type, you can check it out. If you go this route movies can be downloaded to a PC or a TiVo

Of course this is a way to give a gift and view it yourself as well, which I’m sure many will take advantage of.
