Amazon Releases Kindle App for Blackberry

Published

on

Blackberry owners who have been wishing to get in on the eBook craze via Amazon’s Kindle store can now do so. Amazon has released a free Kindle App for some of the Blackberry mobiles. So far the Bold, Tour, Curve, and Storm lines are supported. As with the iPhone Kindle App, users can browse, read, and check out a chapter before buying the full book. Blackberry owners don’t have the luxury of adding annotations. Yes, it works with Amazon’s Whispersync service so syncing back and forth across multiple devices.

Here’s the link to the Amazon page for the download.

Pretty cool idea, not sure about ready an entire book on the Blackberry screen though, but then again..it’s not like the iPhone is any better. Either way, it might work since Blackberry users are use to the small screen.
