Android M Developer Preview 3 Release Delayed

Google promised monthly updates, and that means the developer preview 3 update would be released in July. Today is the 31st, and no update is in sight. However, one Google employee took to Google+ and confirmed a few details.

The Android M 3 update has been slightly delayed, but will still arrive soon. Stating they want this to be as close to a final release as possible for developers to use and test apps on before the global release, so it's taking a little longer than expected.

We want this to be a near final release to test your apps on, but we need a little more time to get it out to you.
Please be patient and refrain from posting speculations about the release date in the community. We will announce the Preview 3 availability here and on +Android Developers as soon as it's ready."

There's no release date in sight for the Dev Preview 3, but if last month is any indication it should be here within the next 7-10 days. Of course, he asked not to speculate, but users want it now. The wait shouldn't be too long, and we'll update as soon as it's avalable with more details.

If there are the true specs for the Note 5, then it’s not worth the money to upgrade. I can’t see paying $650 plus to take a better selfie. Compared to the Note 4, the battery is smaller, sd removed. battery sealed, memory only a tad bit better. I can’t see the Note 5 moving much faster than the Note 4. Personally I think its more of a downgrade unless you want a glass phone that will be covered by a case.

I really hope Samsung has more up it’s sleeve than the rumors and so-called leaks.
