Apple patent reveals stereo bluetooth headset

In the ’bout time department, a new Apple patent shows that they are working on a Bluetooth stereo headset, which I’ve been expecting  since  they added support to the iPhone and iPod touch.  In a twist, their design incorporates what is basically the current iPod shuffle, which should enable multiple modes of function.  It presumably will be able to stand alone as a music player, connect to an iPhone or iPod touch as a stereo headset (or presumably any Bluetooth media player), or add itself as an iPod to any Bluetooth phone. The patent also mentions voice control and notes. Some interesting possibilities here, such as Apple finding a way to add iPods to other phones.
