Asus Dropping Prices On Eee PCs

The sky might not be falling but Asus is following Acer’s lead and dropping prices on some models in the vaunted Eee PC line. Brad Linder at Liliputing is reporting that the Asus 1000H can be had at Amazon for $505, (affiliate link) as low as $449 at MWave, and if you are interested in lower still, you can pick up an open box unit at MWave for $359.

Asus has also dropped the price on the 901 model for $499 at Amazon (affiliate link) and the 1000 model with a 40 GB is also $100 less. Maybe the sky is falling.
