Asus Makes A Move

Asustek (Asus)  is making a move that, should it prove successful, be good for consumers. Asus has long been a key manufacturer of PC components and motherboards and they have recently entered our radar here with their foray into the UMPC and portable computer market. Asus is looking to move their OEM business and brand front and center. Along with looking to see more of the Asus brand, two new names to look out for: Pegatron will be the name for the PC related manufacturing and Unihan will handle the component and non PC side of the operation. The move will happen in January. Should be interesting.
