AT&T Announces 3 Motorola Android Phones

Published

on

Over the next couple weeks, expect a ton of device announcements with CTIA this week and Windows Phone 7 launching next week. It all starts today with AT&T and Motorola announcing 3 new Android offerings on AT&T’s network. Meet the Motorola Bravo, Flipout, and Flipside. What is up with those bad names? Remember the Backflip? That was another great name. The good news about these Android offerings is that all 3 of them have pretty updated Android versions, all 3 have Android 2.1 and the latest version of MOTOBLUR. Hey, it’s not 2.2, but surely better than 1.5 and 1.6 offered on the Dell and Xperia x10.

Motorola Bravo

The Motorola Bravo looks to be the powerhouse of the three. It has a 3.7″ screen, an 800mhz processor, and a 3 megapixel camera. It will sell for $129.99 with a two contract (voice and data) and will be available by the holidays.

Motorola Flipside

The Motorola Flipside looks to be the best offering here for those that want a physical keyboard. It has a 3 megapixel camera and a 3.1″ screen. It will be available on October 17th, 2010 for $79.99 with 2 year contract and data plan.

Motorola Flipout

Don’t Flip Out, but the Motorola Flipout will cost $99 with the same 2 year contract (voice and data).  It will also be available before the holidays. It has a 3.1″ screen with a flip out qwerty keyboard that seems quite square.

AT&T has posted a nice little video of the Flipout:
