The AT&T Galaxy Note 3 release date is set for October 1st with a $299 on a two-year contract price, bringing the new Galaxy Note to the U.S. just a week after the international release.

AT&T opened up Galaxy Note 3 pre-orders this morning, promising orders will ship on October 1st, which lines up with a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 release date that is currently set for October 2nd.

AT&T is Samsung’s closest partner in the U.S., but it looks like Samsung is wisely choosing to get the Galaxy Note 3 to as many carriers as possible as fast as possible with near simultaneous Galaxy Note 3 release dates in the U.S.

Despite a larger screen, and 32GB of on board storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 price remains competitive at $299. AT&T still sells the Galaxy Note 2 at this price. This is a fair price for the Note 3, but it would not shock us to see several Galaxy Note 3 deals arrive before the U.S. Galaxy Note 3 release date arrives in October.

AT&T offers the Galaxy Note 3 at several different price options to meet the needs of consumers that want a contract, no contract or to use the AT&T NEXT program with the Galaxy Note 3. The AT&T Galaxy Note 3 off contract price is high at $729.

  • AT&T Galaxy Note 3 one-year price – $549
  • AT&T Galaxy Note 3 two-year price – $35 a month for 20 months

Customers who opt for the AT&T Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T Next can upgrade to a new phone in 12 months by trading in the old phone. This program is similar to offerings from T-Mobile and Verizon.

The AT&T Galaxy Note 3 is available in Jet Black and Classic White, but there is no sign of the pink Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T, which could mean that it will be a carrier exclusive in the U.S., or that Samsung will offer it later after an initial run focuses on the basic Galaxy Note 3 colors.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 3 at Berlin on Wednesday with many of the Galaxy S4 features and several design and feature upgrades from the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The AT&T Galaxy Note 3 comes with a larger 5.7-inch display that boasts a 1080P full HD resolution for a better viewing experience than the Galaxy Note 2. The device includes a new S Pen that activates Air Command, a new fan out menu with access to five S Pen options include the new Pen Window multitasking that lets users draw a window to launch an app at the perfect size on top of their current app.

    Verizon is 600 for watch and phone… can’t find phone alone and yes this is with 2year contract!!! Hate it!!!
