Bad News for Fans of SXGA+ Screens

If you’re like me and need a high res screen on your Tablet PC for your work, then this won’t come has good news. John Hill from Allegiance Technology Partners, and the new owner of Tablet PC Buzz is reporting this:

Have you noticed that multiple tablet makers have had problems sourcing their SXGA+ screens?

An industry source has said that this screen technology is no longer being manufactured and when the current inventory runs out it will not be offered.

I hate to say it, but following industry trends lately, this only makes sense. Here’s hoping that this could change in the future.
