Here are seven things you need to make sure you try in the Battlefield Hardline beta before it ends on February 8th. Here are seven essential things you need to do in the Battlefield Hardline beta.

The Battlefield Hardline beta is now available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. This is an open beta so anyone with one of these systems can download the beta free of charge and start playing. It is a big beta at 3GB on older consoles and more than 10GB on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. This will take a little while to download and with a beta that only lasts five days, you better download this before you want to play.

The Battlefield Hardline release date is on March 17th, so after the beta ends you’ll need to wait a month to play again. 7 Things to Try in the Battlefield Hardline Beta

This is what you need to know about the Battlefield Hardline beta.

This is what you need to try in the Battlefield Hardline beta.

After spending the first day of the Battlefield Hardline beta playing the fast paced cops and robbers style game we want to make sure that everyone can make use of the limited time with some Battlefield Hardline tips to get the most out of this beta. Here are seven things you need to try while you have access to the Battlefield Hardline beta.

Play All Three Modes

The Battlefield Hardline beta includes three modes and three maps. The modes are Hotwire, Heist and Conquest. Each of these modes offers a different objective, different levels of teamwork and a new experience. Don’t judge the game on one mode. Instead use the Battlefield Hardline beta to play through all the modes that are available.

In Hotwire you need to use teamwork since you can’t shoot while driving. Once you get in one of the marked cars you need to drive fast to earn tickets. You can also take out the enemy, but make sure you keep the car moving.

In Conquest you play against 32 or 64 other players in a giant battle that is great for snipers, until a major shift towards the end of the game. You can’t miss out on this one.

In Heist you need to rob a bank or stop bank robbers. This also requires team work, so give it a chance to make sure you pair up with a good team.

Work as a Team & Play With Friends

The Battlefield Hardline beta is free so your friends don’t have any excuse for not downloading it and joining you for team play. You need to work with friends or other team mates if you want to have fun and win in Battlefield Hardline.

So many modes are better, or only really possible, when you play as a team. If your friends won’t play make sure you talk to other players and get the teamwork going.

Try the Different Classes

You can play with different classes as police or criminals to use different weapons that fit various styles of play. Spend some time switching between the different classes so that you can learn what works best for you.

Each class carries weapons that are best suited for a specific type of player and specific environments. Experiment with the various options before you start upgrading gear.

Try the Vehicles

You can’t drive every vehicle in the Battlefield Hardline beta, but you definitely need to try as many as possible. This includes Motorcycles that are a blast to ride, buggies with machine guns mounted on them and of course the helicopter.

You can spawn inside vehicles that driven by a team-mate or you can spawn at a base with a variety of vehicles to use. It’s still easy to crash the helicopter, but you need to try it out.

Try Upgrading Weapons and Equipment

As you play the Battlefield Hardline beta you will earn in-game money that you can use to upgrade your weapons and gear. After several rounds you should take a short break from playing to spend some of your cash on upgrades. The progress does not carry over to the final release, so don’t stockpile cash in hopes of starting with a big reserve in March.

Destroy the Crane in Battlefield Hardline Beta

Make sure you use the environment to your advantage. You can interact with the environment to bring down a crane and trigger other events. In the downtown area you will definitely want to experience a crane collapse. The video above shows how to destroy the crane in the Battlefield Hardline beta. You need to destroy multiple crane anchors and then it will come crashing down and into skyscrapers. Look for opportunities to interact with the buildings in heist mode as well.

Stay Until the End of Conquest

Conquest is a fun mode that you have to try, but make sure you don’t leave early. At the end of Conquest there is a Sandstorm that changes the fighting style from sniper-friendly to a close quarters battle where you can’t see very far in front of you. You will literally stumble over the enemy and you might just get run over by someone trying to drive through the madness. Whatever you do, don’t leave the Battlefield Hardline beta Conquest mode early.
